Cricinfo staff

December 10, 2006

Mluleki Nkala, the 25-year-old allrounder, has been named captain of Zimbabwe A for their match against Bangladesh A tomorrow in Dhaka.

Tinashe Hove, the opening batsman and Trevor Garwe, an opening bowler, have joined the squad and took part in a training session on Sunday by the coach, Andy Pycroft.

After tomorrow's three-day match, the two teams meet again for a four-day encounter on Friday at the same venue. The senior Bangladesh side swept to a crushing 5-0 win over Zimbabwe in the recent one-day series, with Mashrafe Mortaza cleaning up the tail with 3 for 36.
