England Squad
The following squad was chosen for the Test leg of England's 1998-99 tour of Australia:
GA Hick joined the tour before the start of the First Test as a backup to various injured players.
Thorpe returned home after the tour match against Victoria due to a back injury.
A separate squad was chosen for the Carlton & United One-Day Series which commences after the Test series finishes.
GM Hamilton and IDK Salisbury played in some tour matches while the Test and one-day teams had parallel committments.
In addition to Hick, the following players were chosen before the start of the tour as standby players:
