Profile
Pakistan-bornUmar Bhatti is a left-arm medium-pace new-ball bowler who first appeared for Canada as captain in the Under-19 World Cup in 2004, a wretched tournament where they lost all six matches. He was a regular in the side from 2005 onwards, and although he struggled somewhat in one-day matches, he was most effective in the longer format of the Intercontinental Cup. In 2005 he took a career-best 8 for 40 against Bermuda, and the following year 4 for 82 and 6 for 65 against Kenya.
