Yachts claim Brunei Darussalam Sixes tournament victory May 8, 1999 Yachts last Sunday won the Brunei Darussalam Sixes tournament on count back from Menglait A after scores were tied in the final. Yachts was awarded the final of the nine-team event and hence the winner's trophy by virtue of scoring more boundaries in a match that was tied. The consolation final was won by Cavaliers Club "A" who defeated Shell Recreation Club "B". The competing teams were Cavaliers Club, Shell Recreation Club and Menglait Cricket Club, which all entered two teams, while Manggis, Panaga and Royal Brunei Yacht Club all entered one team each.
