India's total - a few records

India's total of 373-6 in 50 overs against Sri Lanka was the second
highest ever by any team in LOI matches: their opponents Sri Lanka
hold the record. That is incidentally also the World Cup record
[ Tables (A) and (C) ].
This was India's highest total in the history of World Cup matches,
beating their 329 against Kenya in the previous match. Table (B) shows
India's highest totals.
