Zaheer to be fit for Pakistan tour: Leipus

Zaheer Khan is expected to be fully fit and avalaible for India's tour of Pakistan in March. Speaking to The Times of India, Andrew Leipus, the Indian team physiotherapist, said that while Zaheer would have recovered by then, he wasn't quite so sure of Harbhajan Singh.

"Zaheer should be ok for the [Pakistan] tour," he said. "I am in touch with him and am pretty satisfied at his progress. There is no reason why he shouldn't go to Pakistan." But Leipus wasn't so confident about Harbhajan.

"I am going to meet him [Harbhajan] in Melbourne when we reach there for the finals," Leipus said. "I will have a look at his finger and then decide if he needs to be sent home or not. I am not very sure that he will be in any position to play so quickly. I would say that he needs at least five months before he can return to action."
