One-day internationals (5): Bangladesh 5, Zimbabwe 0
Twenty20 international (1): Bangladesh 1, Zimbabwe 0
Another tour, another trial for Zimbabwe, whose only win came in their first warm-up game. Bangladesh won all five one-day internationals, taking Zimbabwe's losing streak in such games to 12, and only in the last one - and briefly in the third - did Zimbabwe look remotely competitive.
Bangladesh's stars were the opening batsman Shahriar Nafees and left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak, while one bright spot for Zimbabwe came in the form of Sean Williams, the left-handed all-rounder and former national Under-19 captain, who had been tempted back into the fold by coach Kevin Curran after originally turning down a contract early in 2006.
At Zimbabwe Cricket's request, two first-class matches against Bangladesh A were tagged on to the end of the tour, to give their side more experience, but they lost the first one and drew the second on a batsman-friendly pitch. The Cricinfo website briefly labelled the opposition as "Bangladesh Z"... and this touring team might even have had trouble beating them.
